School Uniform for September 2011
Provided by the school:
- One blazer
- One tie
- one sports shirt
To be purchased by parent/carer:
Boys
- Plain white shirt with a collar and top button that will take a tie. (Plain means without adornment, logos e.g. Ben Sherman, additional lettering, stripes, coloured flashes, flecked material or patterns etc.) Can be short or long sleeved but must tuck in
- Plain black school trousers. NOT jeans.
- Plain black shoes. No boots, trainers/pumps.
- Black/dark blue PE shorts. Optional tracksuit bottoms (black/grey)
- Plain black belt – coloured, embellished or heavy buckled belts are not allowed.
NO JEWELLERY OTHER THAN A WATCH.
A SUITABLE BAG FOR CARRYING EQUIPMENT/BOOKS (all students require a pen pencil and plastic ruler – metal rulers are not allowed)
COAT – A suitable school coat (Not denim jacket or tracksuit style top)
Extremes of hairstyles including shapes or lines shaved into hair and colours are NOT allowed
Plain black V neck jumper/sweatshirt or cardigan. These must NOT include a hood or logo.
Girls
- Plain white blouse with a collar and top button that will take a tie. Can be short or long sleeved.
- Either:
i) a plain black school skirt that sits no more than 2 inches above the knee when standing. Please do not buy tight lycra pencil skirts as these ride up when worn (three finger rule).
OR
ii) plain black school trousers that sit on the waist. No jeans, no crops, harem pants. Tapered trousers that sit just below the ankle are acceptable and are available from main stores in Doncaster. (NOT canvas or jersey material)
- Plain black, flat shoes. No boots, no trainers/pumps/backless or opened toed sandals.
- Black/dark blue PE shorts. Optional tracksuit bottoms (black/grey)
- Plain black belt – coloured, embellished or heavy buckled belts are not allowed.
- Make-up should not be obvious or excessive – the school would prefer make-up NOT to be worn.
Thank you for your support. The students have designed the uniform because they want to look smarter. We are keen as a school to reduce the costs to parents as much as possible and we always want to avoid any confusion or lack of clarity with regards to uniform.
