Some children are being enticed into spending their dinner money at the food vans which park just outside the gates i.e. burgers, icecream and sweets. If you wish your child to take up a healthy meal from our school restaurant then parents can now pre-pay for their childrens school meal. (Cheque made payable to Don Valley School & Performing Arts College) Please contact the Catering Manager on the school number if you wish to discuss this arrangement in further detail.

The Secretary of State for Education unexpectedly announced his devastating decision to axe all aspects of the Building Schools for the Future programme in order to save money from the education budget.

As you know, our school was all set to be a 90% re-build on Jossey Lane with construction starting in early 2012. This build has now been stopped – without any prior warning or consultation – and we urgently need your help in persuading the Government to invest in the current and future learners of Don Valley.
